MUMBAI: Following up to the ‘Step Up’ series, PVR Pictures announces the release of the ‘Step Up Revolution’ in theatres from the 27th of July’ 2012. In this 4th sequel, stepping up for a change is Kathryn McCormick from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ fame, with an entourage backing her up in the streets of Miami. The movie will be releasing in both 2 D and 3 D across all major cities.
Directed by Scott Speer, ‘Step Up Revolution’ the move also stars super model Ryan Guzman, Misha Gabriel, Peter Gallagher and Steven among others. Emily arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer and soon falls in love with Sean, a young man who leads a dance crew in elaborate, cutting-edge flash mobs, called "The Mob". When a wealthy business man threatens to develop The Mob’s historic neighborhood and displace thousands-of people, Emily must band together with Sean and The Mob to turn their performance art into protest art, and risk losing their dreams to fight for a greater cause.
