Technicolor Asia (Thailand) announces new international staff including India’s Parthasarathi

Mumbai: As Technicolor Asia (Thailand) prepares to launch its new digital intermediate facility at its Bangkok location, international staff additions have been announced to support the new business roll out.

Reporting to managing director Ian Maycock, Andrew Wales joins the Technicolor Asia team as Director of Client Services. Wales spent the last 13 years at London’s Technicolor lab.

Wales and the Client Services team will coordinate and execute projects throughout the process at the Thailand lab.

Mike Balabuch, who has worked on DI of films like The Devil Wears Prada and Prairie Home Companion, will be manager of the new Technicolor Asia Digital Images department.

Also joining the digital team in Bangkok is R.G. Parthasarathi who takes on the Conform/Data Specialist position. His digital experience was at Prime Focus, Spirit DI, and Prasad EFX in India.

Warren Santiago joins the sound team at Technicolor Asia. Santiago is a talented sound designer, editor, and mixer.

Maycock said, "As we get ready to launch our new Digital Images facility and retrofit our existing lab, we are bringing on board some of the most talented technicians in post production. Coming from traditional film finishing, Technicolor brings years of experience into the digital world and the expertise our new international staff brings to the table supports our efforts to offer one stop services providing post production solutions for all of Asia."
