MUMBAI: Tommy Lee Jones has sued Paramount Pictures, who are the makers of No Country For Old Men.
Jones has sued the studio for more than $10 million, which he claims he is owed for starring in the 2007 Oscar-winning crime thriller.
The lawsuit, which was filed in Bexar County in San Antonio, claims that Jones was promised "significant box-office bonuses" and other compensation depending on the success of the film, which went on to take in more than $160 million at the box office.
According to reports, Jones agreed to take a reduced upfront fee for the role of Sheriff Ed Tom Bell in No Country For Old Men on the condition of the bonuses.
