Twitter plans television foray with new series

MUMBAI: Twitter, the social-networking and micro-blogging website, is planning a television series.

The website has teamed up with Reveille Productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop an unscripted series based on the site, which invites 140-character postings from members around the world.

Created by novelist Amy Ephron, the untitled show will feature ordinary people competing while on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format.
