MUMBAI: Universal Music Group (UMG) set a new precedent as its youtube channel streamed over one billion music videos to date, making it one of youtube’s most popular video channels, according to the worldwide video sharing network.
Having been ranked as the #1 channel on youtube’s ‘Most Viewed – All Time’ chart for over a year, UMG is currently streaming over eight million videos per day. In total, UMG is significantly surpassing popular channels such as CBS and NBC by hundreds of millions of views.
