"Joel’s talent, experience, ability to work well with our artists, and knowledge of the radio, video and digital landscapes, has been great assets to our company. The entire Universal family joins me in congratulating him on this milestone accomplishment," added Universal Motown Republic Group chairman & CEO Mel Lewinter.

"There are precious few companies like Universal Republic, and even fewer opportunities to work with people like Mel, Avery Lipman (Co-President, UniversalRepublic) and Monte. I am grateful for all of their continued support, and I’m looking forward to continuing to contribute to one of the most dynamic teams in the business," added Klaiman.
