Mumbai: Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures revealed plans to launch the High School Musical 3: Senior Year’s global first look 13 July on Disney Channels Worldwide. The worldwide online launch kicks off on Disney.com on 14 July at 12:01 a.m.
"We’re paying homage to the fans by introducing our first look on the network that launched the franchise," said Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group president Mark Zoradi. "High School Musical is a worldwide phenomenon and it is important to pursue a nearly simultaneous launch of the first look to fans everywhere, employing our online venue, Disney.com, as well as our international Disney Channels and Jetix platforms."
Beginning 13 July in select countries, the high-energy trailer will reach fans around the globe, including U.S., Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan, Brazil and Mexico, among others.
Debuting in the U.S. on 13 July at 7:55 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel, the first look will precede an encore showing of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock.
Hosted by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, and including the song Now or Never from High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the trailer features footage from the highly anticipated movie, which is slated for 24 Oct release.
Performed by the cast from the movie, Now or Never debuts Friday, 11 July at 7:15 p.m. ET on Radio Disney.
