MUMBAI: The music of Ajay Devgan’s directorial debut U, Me Aur Hum was launched on the eve of Valentine’s Day at a bash held at The Club, Andheri.
Starting off the function was Sumeet Raghvan, also starring in the film, who invited on stage, music director Vishal Bharadwaj, lyricist Munna Dhiman and the stars of the film Ajay Devgan and Kajol.
The crew spoke about the music and their hopes and expectations from the film. Other cast members like Isha Sharvani, Karan Khanna and designer Anna Singh along with choreographer Ganesh Acharya and co-producer Kumar Mangat joined them on stage later.
Also present were actress Tanujaa (Kajol’s mother) and stunt director Veeru Devgan (Ajay Devgan’s father). The launch was also attended by director Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Santoshi, Tanishaa, Vatshal Seth, Anees Bazmee and Mukesh Tiwari.
The album begins with ‘Jee Le’, which is currently being aired on television as a part of the film’s trailer.
Produced by Devgan under his banner Devgan Films, this emotional love story stars Devgan and Kajol in the lead along with Divya Dutta, Sumeet Raghvan, Karan Khanna and Isha Sharvani.
Written by Robin Bhatt, Sutanu Gupta and Akarsh Khurana, the film has dialogues by Ashwini Dheer, cinematography by Aseem Bajaj and is co-produced by Kumar Mangat.
