MUMBAI: After shaking a leg with Kylie Minogue and rapping with Snoop Dogg, Akshay Kumar is all set to collaborate with hip hop artist Ludacris for his Indo-Canadian venture Breakaway.
Bringing himself a step closer to sealing his longstanding bond with Canadian culture and his evergreen passion –sports Akshay Kumar’s project Breakaway, crafted by director Robert Lieberman, is a cross-cultural hockey drama set in the Indo-Canadian community of suburban Toronto, Canada.
Ensuring that the film receives the international production values that it deserves Akshay roped in Grammy Award winner Ludacris for the music video of the film.
Akshay Kumar said, “It’s very exciting to collaborate with Ludacris for the music video of Breakaway. It’s great to have the opportunity to work with such great artists from across the globe.Ludacris is going to make the music video one to watch out for.”
Breakaway starring Vinay Virmani, Russell Peters, Rob Lowe, Camilla Belle and Anupam Kher is a fun, action-filled, emotional sports comedy bringing a dash of Bollywood entertainment to Canada’s favourite sport.
