Amitabh Bachchan launches Aadesh Shrivastava’s Shri Hanuman Chalisa

MUMBAI: ActorAmitabh Bachchan launched Shri Hanuman Chalisa in his unique baritone on 9 October in Mumbai.

Presented by AB Corp & Veecon Music & Entertainment, the Shri Hanuman Chalisa has been recorded in Bachchan’s voice along with 20 other playback singers and artists from the Indian film industry. The music has been composed by Aadesh Shrivastava, under the Veecon Music label.

This is the first time in India that a single song CD featuring only one track sung by 21 singers is being released.

The 20 other singers to join Amitabh Bachchan on this track are Aadesh Shrivastava, Hariharan, Sonu Nigam, Suresh Wadkar, Abhijit, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Roopkumar Rathod, Shaan, Kailsah Kher, Mukul Aggarwal, Manoj Tiwari, Hansraj Hans, Prasoon Joshi, Kay Kay, Sukhwinder Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Babul Supriyo, Kunal Ganjawala and Vinod Rathod.

The event was attended by Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Yash Chopra, Ramesh Sippy, Kiran Juneja, Ramesh Taurani, Rakeysh Mehra, Prakash Jha, Piyush Pandey, Ila Arun, lyricist Sameer and choreographer Shiamak Davar amongst others.
