MUMBAI: After music director A R Rahman’s appearance in Airtel’s television commercial, it’s now music director Annu Malek’s turn to do a feature in a commercial.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com from Delhi, where he is currently shooting for the commercial, Malek says, “I have composed the music for MTNL’s broadband service and will be making an appearance in the concluding piece of the commercial.”
He further adds, “The music is a fusion tune amalgamating an ethnic tune representing the brand value of MTNL and a youthful tune, which will draw the attention of youngsters who are the target group for the service. The tune has been composed in sync with the Indian culture.”
MTNL Broadband commercial is 60 second long and will be aired on television from next month onwards. Malek had earlier composed music for Farah Khan directed 7 UP commercial, which was a qawali featuring Yana Gupta and brand mascot Fido.
