MUMBAI: The Bryan Adams concert in Delhi that was scheduled for Tuesday, 15 February, 2011, has been cancelled due to heavy rains and also because Delhi Police refused to issue no objection certificate (NOC) due to security concerns.

 

In an official statement, Netsurf Entertainments said, “We are working towards finalizing an alternate venue and date to re-schedule the Bryan Adams concert in New Delhi since public safety is a priority. The unexpected rains coupled with the overwhelming public response for the show has made the venue unsafe. Bryan Adams is keen to perform in New Delhi and not disappoint his fans.”

 

The promoters have also said those who are not interested in the rescheduled concert would get full refund of the tickets.
