MUMBAI: Choreographer singer Ganesh Hegde is all geared up to release his second album.
Hegde is credited for giving birth to the item number concept with popular songs like Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo and Khallas and he is also the first Indian pop star to produce, write, direct and star in his debut music video, Main Deewana. He is now ready with his second album and the date for the unveiling of the first look of the album was chosen after much thought as it was also the late Michael Jackson’s birthday.
Hegde has always credited the renowned singer for his transformation as dancer, singer, performer and therefore has elements in his songs and videos, which are an ode to the legendary singer. Besides, Hegde was the only Indian choreographer who performed for the opening acts at the MJ Concert in Mumbai.
Hegde has roped in some of the biggest Bollywood names to feature with him in the videos like Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu among others.
