MUMBAI: Hyderabad’s Radio City 91.1 FM has launched a hunt for a singer with a contest titled Radio City Superstar Singer.
All musically gifted Hyderabadis can participate in the auditions and prove their singing mettle, out of which one will be the chosen voice who stands to win a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and be the station voice for Radio City Hyderabad for a year.
City-wide auditions for Radio City Superstar Singer started from 22 May and will run up to 5 June, 2010.
Hyderabad’s Radio Citizens are invited to vote for their favourite Superstar Singer. Helping listeners vote for the right person will be a series of Hyderabad’s most renowned names in music. Radio City ‘Superstar Singer will be proclaimed on 20 June, 2010 at Inorbit Mall. The finalist will have a live audience and will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges along with the RJ Vamsee and audience votes.
