MUMBAI: Idea Cellular has launched a special compilation of Health Music, in association with the Indian Music Academy (IMA), titled the Walking Ragaas. The music album is a collection of various Ragas and Vedic mantras, which have been proved to be good for physical health of listeners.
In line with the Idea brand campaign titled ‘Walk When You Talk’ based on the theme of health and fitness, the new music album consists of eight different tracks derived from the mantras of the Vedas. This music is considered good for vital physiological functions of the body, and overall physical health of listener, especially when heard while walking.
Idea Cellular chief marketing officer Pradeep Shrivastava said, "Music is universal and appeals to a wide range of audience. Indian Music Academy spokesperson Durga Jasraj added, "The music of this album that spans for about 45 minutes is being created especially for fitness enthusiasts. The first audio track of the album features a particular mantra from the Upanishads which improves the breathing in human beings. The subsequent tracks have been created keeping in mind the increased tempo of brisk walking along with other body functions. The tracks have been weaved in consultation with the fitness experts while maintaining proper synchronizations in tandem with the rhythm and harmonics."
Songs from the Walking Raagas can be downloaded by Idea subscribers from the dialer tone multi modal number 56787. Idea subscribers can also listen to the music on Idea Music Station. The health music CD will be available soon at music outlets across the country for Rs 180.
