Jassi launches music album Back with a Bang

Mumbai: Reliance Broadcast Network has launched Jasbir Jassi’s new album ‘Back with a Bang’. The album is Times Music Production consisting of 9 different tracks. While addressing a Press Conference, the renowned Punjabi singer informed about his piece of work. Jassi’s Back with a Bang, creating a sound for Punjab, so that it can be consumed by the international audience. Jassi aptly puts the album approach as "from pind to New York". The songs are aired on Big FM.

After the formal launch of his album Jassi joined BIG RJs Anubhav, Sofie, Anjali and Pankaj for live performance at BIG studios. The magical singer hummed few of his favorite numbers. BIG FM played a special contest for the residents of the tricity wherein they were given a chance to meet the singer by replying to simple Bollywood based questions.

Jassi is currently working on a Punjabi film Khushiyan starring Tisca Chopra which will release around October. He has sung the title song for the film Mela karade Rabba which is currently top of the charts across Punjab.

Back with a Bang has tracks adding all colors to life: The first track Mehandi is audible on BIG FM. Other numbers are called Jattiyan, Bang, Khusro, gali gali, kalaria, mela, baliye and Pia. The album is mixture of folk, Sufi, hip hop and fusion.
