Mumbai: Eros and Rose Movies released the music of their forthcoming movie Drona on Saturday. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.
The music is composed by Dhruv Ghanekar. "I began composing themes and songs of Drona in September 2006. Composing the Drona soundtrack has been a challenging and exciting adventure for me. The music has a rich and vast range as it follows Drona’s journey of self discovery and takes the viewer on a musical joyride as well."
Ghanekar has also rendered his voice for the title track of Drona. At the event Jaya Bachchan said, "My husband (Amitbah Bachchan) feels that Ghanekar has a lot of talent in him to become a very good music director." The lyrics are penned by Vaibhavi Modi.
Drona will release theatrically on 2 October. It is directed by Goldie Behl and produced by Shrishti Arya for Rose Movies.
