Radio City organises radio exhibition

MUMBAI: Commemorating World Radio Day on 12 December 12, Lucknow’s Radio City 91.1 FM organised an exhibition ‘City ka Radio’. This three day exhibition which showcased a collection of the oldest radio sets owned by Lucknow’s radio cityzens was inaugurated by Sahara India Pariwar, Assistant Director, Kumkum Roy Choudhury. RJ Meenu, host of City Spice and RJ Pooja, host of Hum Tum were also present for the inauguration.


Lucknow’s Radio Cityzens visited this exhibition from which was held from 15-16 December at Saharaganj Mall where the FM station partnered with Saharaganj’s on-going ‘Shop & Win Festival’. Visitors voted for their favourite radio set, met Radio City RJs and also played games with them.


Based on the listener votes received, the ‘City Ka Radio’ award was be presented to the owner of the oldest radio set which is still in working condition. The winner stands to win the Radio City ‘City ka Radio’ certificate along with prizes courtesy Chappan Bhog and Saharaganj Mall.
