Radio Misty to celebrate Diwali with contests

Mumbai: Radio Misty 94.3 FM is going to celebrate a ‘Misty Dipawali Utsav’ in all the major towns of North Bengal with contests. The towns include Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Dhupguri, Maynaguri and Belakoba.

The first contest will be among Kali Puja organizers and the judgment will be on the basis of their lighting — the diyas and candles as well as modern lighting. The winner will get a cash prize and the Misty Trophy. A panel of judges from different walks of life will be taken kali puja pandals for judgment.

Another contest will have the participation of radio listeners. Twelve participants at each spot will design Radio Misty and 94.3 FM with candles and on the basis of time taken by the participants, winners will be selected.

Misty radio jocks will also air shows from live studios on the venue.

Radio Misty chief executive officer Nishant Mittal said, "We believe in connecting with listeners with innovative shows and ground activities. This utsav on dipawali and kalipuja will be very unique for listerners. A contest for listeners is on air where winners will get silver and gold coins."
