Reliance ADAG’s Big FM to launch in Singapore on 1 July

Mumbai: Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) will be launching its radio station Big 92.7 FM in Singapore with MediaCorp Radio Station on 1 July.

The station will be called BIG Bollywood 96.3 FM and will broadcast Bollywood entertainment everyday from 5 – 8 pm, which will include Bollywood hits from the year 2000 onwards.

The programming mix has been put together after much research, to offer an increasingly large base of Bollywood fans their daily dose of music and content. The wholesome entertainment mix has been put together, after much research of the local tastes and requirements to ensure ultimate listener pleasure.

The programs are designed to cater to all sections of the Asian community seeking Bollywood entertainment back in Singapore.

Big92.7 FM chief operating officer Tarun Katial said, "Our effort is to entertain the Indian Diasporas, giving them the flavour of radio, back home. We also believe, with the increasing popularity of Bollywood movies across Asia and the world, there is an international audience who will also be interested in consuming our content."

MediaCorp managing director Philip Koh said, "The addition of Hindi programming on FM96.3 will further reinforce the station’s position as a station for the expatriate community. The Hindi expatriate community is possibly the fastest growing one in Singapore’s quest to attract foreign talent to our shores."
