MUMBAI: The music of UTV Motion Pictures and Sohail Khan Production’s Main Aur Mrs Khanna was launched by Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in Mumbai recently.
The music of the film is by Sajid – Wajid. The duo have been giving the music for most of Salman Khan’s films and this time round they have dished out a romantic album. "We have tried to bring back the ‘melody’ in the music. The music of Main Aur Mrs Khanna is very different from what we have done before," said Wajid.
Apart from the lead cast, the music launch was also attended by director Prem Soni and Bappi Lahiri.
Elaborating about her bond with the Khan family, Kareena said that her sister Karisma has always been close to Salman. "We have been family friends for years. That is why I chose to do this film. Also I have a role that I haven’t done before. My character is strong representing today’s thinking woman. When Prem narrated the script to me I knew I had to this film."
Salman said he was very happy that the movie had shaped up very well.
Main Aur Mrs Khanna also marks the debut of Bappi Lahiri as an actor. Sohail Khan said, "He is very happy that UTV has trusted the project and invested in the project. He always enjoys working with Salman bhai and with Kareena Kapoor as usual has give a brilliant performance in the movie."
Main Aur Mrs Khanna starring Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Kareena Kapoor will release on Diwali (16 Octorber).
