Mumbai: Saregama India Ltd. launched young maestro Rahul Sharma and Richard Clayderman’s second collaboration Confluence II. The album was unveiled by superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The guests for the evening included Harsh Goenka, Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, Adnan Sami and many ardent music lovers. Rahul Sharma enthralled the audience by his performance.
After the huge success of Confluence, Rahul and Richard have collaborated once again for Confluence II. Richard Clayderman is one of the world’s most popular pianists while Rahul Sharma is the disciple of the legendary santoor maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma.
With Confluence II they have created an extraordinary musical vision, combining the elegance of Clayderman’s piano and Sharma’s gentle santoor; the pair transcends musical and cultural boundaries. Most of the tracks are composed by Rahul. The album also has a remixed track of Sharma along with DJ Suketu. The album is backed by a beautiful video on the track The Chase, which was shot in France, directed by Rajat Nagpal.
