MUMBAI: Director Kunal Kohli’s maiden production venture will go on the floors in October this year. Kohli has zeroed in on the musical trio – Shankar Ehsaan Loy to compose the music of his film.
“Shankar Ehsaan Loy will be composing music for my film, and we will soon start our music sittings,” says Kohli.
Currently, the director is busy roping in various talents and working on the production detailing for his film.
The film stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerjee in the lead and will be shot in India, Kohli informs. “Even Fanaa was shot in India. It was only because we did not manage to get access to locations in Jammu and Kashmir due to security reasons, that we had to shoot in Switzerland.”
Kohli adds that the film’s story is set in India and hence has to be shot here for the authenticity. The title of the film has still not been finalised.
