MUMBAI: T-Series has acquired the music rights of devotional Hindi film called Vignaharta Shree Siddhivinayak, which is based on the miracles of Lord Ganesha.
The movie is produced by the Siddhivinayak Temple Trust in association with Vistas Media.
The film also includes popular aartis of Siddhivinayak Temple, which have been sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Tulsi Kumar, Shilpa Pai, Ravindra Bijoor and Ravindra Sakhi. The music is by Anil Mohile, whereas Rajesh Johri has given the lyrics and Yashwant Ingavle is the director.
"The film is for a cause. And to reiterate the presence of a power above us all that makes a difference and brings peace to our soul. The genuineness of cause was important and the first musical company that came to our mind when it was time for audio release is Gulshan Kumar’s T-Series. And they welcomed us with open arms. We are equally proud of the association," says Vistas Media’s Rajiv Sanghvi.
T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar adds, "We feel privileged and honoured that we have been chosen by the trust to release the audio of this devotional album. And we are doing our best to make the aartis available for the devotees during the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi."
Currently, the Vignaharta Shree Siddhivinayak audios and CDs will be available at stores for Rs 50 for CDs and Rs 35 for audio cassettes. The main temple aarti is also available on ringtones and can be downloaded on the net as well. The film will see a post-Diwali release.
