The band has brought disparate musical styles and influences to the record. SuperHeavy has a diverse and eclectic line up who share 11 Grammy Awards between them with Indian maestro A R Rahman and international legends such as Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone and Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley collaborating on it. The album, which is co-produced by Jagger & Stewart, is recorded in studios around the world.
The album is released in two formats– a Standard Version and a Deluxe Edition, both of which will include A R Rahman’s second composition for the band, a mid-tempo track called Mahiya. It also features the first single Miracle Worker’ and the second single Satyameva Jayate. The album hit stores across India on 19 September, 2011.
