UTV’s Siddharth Roy Kapur clears rumors about music of Thank You

MUMBAI: UTV’s head honcho clears the rumors that have been doing the rounds about the music of Thank You not being promoted well by T Series, who have acquired the music rights of the film.
Kapur says, “The music of Thank You has been very well received by T Series and we are quite satisfied with the response.”
 
The rumor was that the music of  Thank You was not being promoted well by T-Series, due to late delivery of the master tapes by UTV.
 
The film directed by Anees Bazmee stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitly, Irrfan Khan, Rimi Sen and Mallika Sherawat.
 
T-Series director Ajay Kapoor added, “We are very happy with UTV. As you may be aware, two years ago, T-Series had acquired the rights of as many as 20 films from UTV alone. This shows how much we trust each other. In case of Thank You, the tapes were delivered on time and the total payment is also made . The music of Thank You is doing very well. ”
 
“We have had a long and fruitful relationship with T-Series. The reports about any acrimony between us are completely baseless and mischievous and is a move to sabotage our film. Some vested interests are trying to create a misunderstanding.  I want to make it clear that we have and will always share a very warm business relationship with T Series and all payments of Thank You have been received,” added Kapur.
