Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal passed away on Friday in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Aarthi’s manager Uma Sankar confirmed the reports and revealed the cause of actress’s death to be a sudden cardio arrest. The 31-year old actress Aarthi Agarwal was fighting obesity and pulmonary illness since quite some time and hence opted for a liposuction surgery to overcome the obstacle. The actress had only recently flown down to US to get the surgery and died nearly a month after the procedure.
According to sources the risk of death due to liposuction is very rare but sometimes in few cases death can be caused due to fat embolism. Fat embolism is the condition where the arteries of heart get blocked due to excess fat which causes cardiac arrest. Although the same hasn’t been confirmed, it looks like the same has happened in case of actress Aarthi‘s untimely demise. The other reason can be guessed as post surgery infection.
Born on March 5, 1985 in New Jersey, the actress was also brought up in the state. At the age of 16, the actress made her debut in Bollywood in 2000 with film Paagalpan but found success in Telugu film industry after starring in blockbuster film Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav opposite to actor Venkatesh in 2001. Aarthi found fame, success and recognition in the industry for her fabulous acting skills and talents. She went on to become one of the superstars of the industry.
Recently allegations were being made that the pressure faced by artists in Tollywood industry is taking a toll on their lives. Aarthi Aggarwal was apparently depressed due to her fading fame from the industry and was missing out on opportunities due to her obesity issues. In order to get back in shape quickly she opted for liposuction that ultimately resulted in her death. The news is definitely shocking as the friends and family of the actress are themselves unable to process the fact. It is definitely a saddening news for the Tollywood industry and we extend our condolences to the actress’ family.
