According to the reports, on March 9, Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi filed a case against her husband at Channammanakere Achchukattu Police Station.

Reportedly, Vijayalakshmi who is living with her parents and son Vineesh, filed a case after husband created a ruckus outside her home at midnight 4 am. He even accused and broke the glass of the car, owned by his wife. Darshan also assaulted the security guard when he asked him to stop entering the apartment. It is not known if the actor was drunk while he visited Vijayalakshmi’s residence.
Vijayalakshmi who was annoyed by her husband’s behavior, has reportedly asked the police to tell Darshan to correct his behaviour. After the news broke out, a Kannada TV channel carried the news that stated, Darshan has alleged that Vijayalakshmi is having an affair.

From past 6 months Vijayalakshmi is living with her parents and son Vineesh in Prestige South Ridge Apartments, located at Hosakerehalli, Banashankari, which means the two have split up long time ago.
Darshan and Vijayalakshmi were in a relationship for about four years before they married each other in 2000. The differences and rift between the two started when Jaggu Dada actor assaulted and threatened his wife in September 2011. After which he was arrested and was sent for 14 days under judicial custody. Later, they came together and decided to settle, but it seems things have turned worse now.[/tps_footer]
