[tps_footer]South superstar Rajinikanth is deeply affected by the state of his city Chennai which was hit by floods and is facing its after effects now. The actor who will soon turn 65-years-old will not be celebrating his birthday on December 12, 2015. Rajinikanth who was is Malaysia for the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Kabali’ has recently arrived in Goa to continue the shoot with actress Radhika Apte. Amidst all this, the actor has not forgotten about his city and has already made donations from his side.
Rajinikanth’s 65th birthday was supposed to be a huge deal as fans were promised double treat on the occasion of his special day. While ‘Kabali’ makers were apparently going to release new posters from the film, his other highly anticipated movie ‘Enthiran 2’ was supposed to mark its beginning on the auspicious day of the superstar’s birthday. Although now all of that will have to wait as the actor is in no mood to have any kind of celebration when his own people are suffering so much.
Rajinikanth has already donated Rs. 10 lakhs to the CM Relief Fund and despite not being in Chennai the superstar has indirectly contributed in the relief missions. His family, son-in-law Dhanush has been actively helping out in the rescue and rehabilitation missions by providing food and shelter to those in need. Surely the Rajinikanth family is an idol for all in Tamil Nadu and to get help from their side during this devastating time is a source of hope for all.
Rajinikanth has urged his fans not to indulge in any celebrations this year for his birthday but we’re not sure how much that will work out. As things are starting to clear up in Chennai slowly and steadily, will the city be back on track to celebrate the superstar’s birthday? Only time will tell![/tps_footer]
