Malayalam industry’s ace actor Mohanlal was greeted warmly on the sets of his upcoming film Kanal. The actor who celebrated his birthday on May 21, with his family had great fun on the sets of his film that started rolling only recently. Mohanlal took to his official Facebook page to share a photo of his blissful moment with the film’s crew.
Mohanlal has been on the run for couple of months with his back-to-back film projects. Only recently the actor took time out to visit the holy temple Sabarimala and later went on a family vacation to Japan. Mohanlal celebrated his 55th birthday with his loved ones in Japan.
On his arrival to India and joining the cast and crew of Kanal, he was greeted with well wishes and a small belated birthday party. The Drishyam actor shared the snap and wrote, “Joined at the sets of Kanal my new movie Directed by Padma Kumar n Penned by Suresh Babu.”
Mohanlal starrer Kanal was supposed to start rolling from first week of June but was preponed due to some reasons. Kanal is reportedly an action thriller film that revolves around the lives of two individuals who have vengeance on their minds. Trivandrum Lodge actors Anoop Menonand Honey Rose will also play the lead roles in the film. Abraham Mathew has produced the film under his banner Abaam Movies.
Earlier it was revealed that Malayalam industry’s two ace artists, actor Mohanlal and filmmaker Lal Jose are finally coming together for their next untitled venture. According to sources Lal Jose has himself confirmed the big news that the duo are indeed coming together for a film produced by Anthony Perumbavoor. Mohanlal will also be working on his on going projects Ennum Eppozhum and Loham. After the shoot of Kanal, Mohanlal will next be working with director Vysakh for his film Puli Murugan.
