South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan got engaged to businessman and producer Varun Manian. The ceremony was a grand event and was attended by celebrities like Kamal Hassan, director Maniratnam and many more.
The engagement ceremony was conducted traditionally with ring and garland exchanged by Trisha and Varun. The South Indian beauty looked absolutely beautiful in her pink Saree designed by Neeta Lulla, accessorized with heavy jewellery.
The wedding date has yet not been revealed but is likely to take place within the year. Surely, it will be grand event as well. The actress earlier tweeted saying “Pls don’t speculate about my wedding date as we have not fixed it as yet. And as always you will hear it from me first when we do”.

Varun Manian had also announced that he would be funding hundreds of animals for a year under the care of CAD (Chennai Adoption Drive). CAD has thanked the couple for their generous gesture and has announced that the contribution will be used for medications and food costs for the dogs.
The other actors who were present at the event were Gauthami, Ramya Krishnan, Suhasini, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu, Amala Paul and Ramya Krishnan. Trisha stated that she will continue working even after marriage, and has already signed several projects.
