Till now it has been known that Vijay 59 will be an action crime drama in which the actor will be playing a double role. Starring actress Samantha Prabhu, the film will also have the staple romance that every South Indian film offers for the audience. The film also stars actress Amy Jackson who is now slowly establishing herself as a leading South actress. Directed and written by Atlee Kumar, the film is being produced by K.S. Thanu. Radhika Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Sathyaraj and Sunaina form the rest of the pivotal cast of the film.

It is said that the film’s title might be ‘Khaki’ given the fact that Vijay plays the role of a police officer in the film. His name is Aravindhan IPS in the film, facing villain J. Mahendran. The actor was earlier in Goa shooting for the film and might soon make a trip to China as director Atlee plans to shoot some sequences there as well. Well with so much buzz about the film, the anticipation has risen threefold. November 26 has become all the more special for all Vijay fans as the D-day is arriving in three days!

Earlier on it was revealed that Vijay has narrowed down his choice for the 60th film which will be done by him after he wraps up his current venture. Apparently dialogue writer turned filmmaker Bharathan will be helming the direction of this yet untitled venture starring the ‘Puli’ star.
