[tps_footer]The makers of Vikram’s I, were hugely disappointed recently when the trailer of the film was leaked onto the internet. Now we know why. After watching it, we can just say one thing, it’s time for India to compete with the Wolverine franchise.
Vikram is seen in a lot of getups. From a hunched back ugly goblin to a hairy wolverine to a suave hunk, Vikram goes through a lot of transition and fantastically so. It is majestically shot and could easily be the most expensive film ever made in the history of Indian cinema. A trademark Shankar movie, it has elaborate sets, dance sequences, colourful attires and a lot of visual effects.
The female lead in the film is Amy Jackson who was hardly seen in the promo. We hope she has a better role than that. What struck us as amusing is the grand return of Upen Patel. Though in just one scene, the frown on his face could only mean he is giving the film his 200 per cent so that he doesn’t get written off the nth time.
If you think that was grand, then let us tell you who graced the trailer launch of the film. Seated next to demi-god Rajanikanth and Shankar was the Terminator of the world Arnold Schwarzeneggar along with A R Rahman whose done the music of the film.
