MUMBAI: It was the week of yummy mummies in Bollywood all the way, with several of the previous decade’s superstar heroines reclaiming their throne, at least on the fashion front….
Manish Malhotra’s ‘Girls’: The opening act of the ongoing LFW was spectacular, with designer Manish Malhotra roping in seasoned actresses like Kajol and Karisma Kapoor to walk for him.
Kajol stunned in a svelte, figure hugging black net ensemble. With her hair neatly tied up, smoky eye makeup and a gorgeous neck piece, Kajol looked like a diva once again.
Similarly, fellow yummy mummy Karisma Kapoor too shone on the ramp, in an elegant white and red salwar suit. The light-eyed beauty once again reminded us that true style is minimalistic.
Colour Blocked Shilpa Shetty: Here was yet another deliciously yummy mummy, who looked fab at an outing with hubby during the week. Shilpa Shetty colour blocked her ensemble to perfection, in a white top, black skinnies, a printed blue jacket and purple pumps. Well done!
Shilpa wowed once again at Sridevi’s 50th birthday bash, in an uber-cute black dress, with a bow-tie!
Sonam So ‘Posh’: While we NEVER tire of Sonam’s sartorial choices, her attire this week truly blew us away. In an olive green and black Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice dress, the Kapoor lass was chic at the unveiling of her papa’s upcoming TV outing, ‘24’. So chic, so posh, so Sonam!
