MUMBAI: It’s been an electrifying week at Bollywood with fights, cover girls fighting out for front magazine covers, actors launching songs and getting laced in wax. In short it’s Bollywood’s top moments filled with all excitement and buzz.
Aamir Is Back: The first teaser of ‘Dhoom 3’ unveiled on Youtube a day before ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ release has created quite a stir. A stellar star-cast comprising of Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Katrina Kaif brings back the gritty bike rides, high-octane stunts back after the successful previous two outings in ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2’ respectively. But it’s Aamir’s comeback, which has created the entire buzz. The trailer currently has crossed 3 million views already. Aamir Khan is quite a ‘Dhoom’.
Magazine Wars: The leading ladies of Bollywood after walking in ramps are now gearing up for a stint in becoming poster girls for magazines. Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and many others have recently appeared as cover girls for Vogue, FHM, Femina, Women’s Health and more respectively.
Laced In Wax: It may not be Madame Tussauds yet for Prabhu Deva, but the actor-dancer unveiled his wax statute at Lonavla. With his comparison made to the greats like Michael Jackson, it will be soon time that the director has one, as said at the Tussauds as well.
Ranbir’s Besharmi: Ranbir Kapoor may all be hyped and excited about his ‘Besharam’ and the actor indulged at a lot of besharmi at the song launch of the film. Ranbir was also present at a dance reality show where he grooved with his parents Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh. Looks like the family is up for all masti and besharmi this week!
Kareena’s False Pregnancy Call: Kareena Kapoor will be seen in Punit Malhotra’s ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’. At a shoot the actress was spotted with a baby bump, which raised questions over the actress being pregnant. But it’s all part of the shoot and no reality in the true sense.
Starry Fights Continues: Even as SRK – Ekta blame game continues few other verbal battles emerged in Bollywood. Imran Khan reportedly has upset Ekta Kapoor. Apparently the actor has refused to work in further Balaji projects, as he isn’t quite happy with Ekta Kapoor’s way of working. Meanwhile Ekta Kapoor has replaced Imran with Shahid Kapoor for ‘Milan Talkies’. Another star war that emerged is between the makers of ‘Zanjeer’ and the original writers of the 70’s classic Salim-Javed. The latter have settled the matter out-of-court.
