Irrfan Khan And Konkana Sen's Talvar Trailer: It's All About Murder, Conspiracy And Media

Talvar starring Irrfan Khan, Konkana Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi in the lead roles, based on the infamous Aarushi Talwar murder mystery, is all set to release on October 2. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the story is loosely inspired from the Aarushi Talwar murder case. The first trailer of the film is out which is totally insane and takes you back to the times where conspiracy about the case was on the boards.

Konkana Sen Sharma who is famous for the films based on the real live events will be seen playing the role of Aarushi Talwar’s mother in the movie, while Neeraj Kabi will be seen playing the role of the father. The actress took to her twitter handle to share the first teaser look of the film, which is slated to hit theatres on October 2 this year.

With the intense look of Irrfan Khan in the first teaser poster, there is also a blindfolded lady justice with a sword in the hand and documents in other hand. The poster has a tagline as, “India’s most controversial case reopens on 2nd October”.

Also the first trailer of the film is out, the story refers to the murder of 14-year-old girl and 45-year-old servant, a domestic help employed by her family, in Noida. The trailer shows how the case aroused public interest as a mystery story, and receives heavy media coverage. The sensational media coverage, which included salacious allegations against the murdered girl and the suspects, was criticized by many as a trial by media.

Actor Irrfan Khan who plays the lead role of solving the case, tries o bring the real side of the case where girl’s father gets trapped of blames and conspiracy.

Talvar has been directed by Meghna Gulzar starring Irrfan Khan and Konkana in the lead roles. Apparently, Aarushi’s parents, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, have approved the project. Konkona Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi will be playing the parents’ roles while Irrfan is the investigating officer on the case. Talvar is scheduled to release on October 2.
