MUMBAI: T-Series, Ramesh Sippy productions’ has revealed the trailer of their upcoming project ‘Nautanki Saala’ – a romantic-comedy featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Kunal Roy Kapur (Delhi Belly), Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma. Directed by Rohan Sippy, ‘Nautanki Saala’ is based on the 2001 French Film ‘Apres Vous’.
The first trailer of the film promises a pleasing and enjoyable ride full of humour, friendship, and love. ‘Vicky Donor’ Ayushmann steps into the role of an actor as well as the director of a theatre company. He helps a lonely and suicidal Kunaal Roy Kapur get back on his feet through friendship. Things are great between the two buddies, until Pooja Salvi enters, and the two fall for her charm.
The trailer gives out a very young and fresh vibe, with hilarious spoofs on ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ and even ‘Avatar’. The remixed, naughty version of ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’ surely is one to look out for.
Evelyn Sharma and V.J Gaelyn Mendonca appear in pivotal roles, and Abhishek Bachchan who is Rohan Sippy’s lucky charm will be seen in a special appearance. Interestingly, after ‘Paani Da Rang’, Ayushmann will be singing for this flick too!
‘Nautanki Saala’ is set to hit the screens on April 12, 2013.
