Trailer Review: Gulaab Gang Girls Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla Leave Us Speechless

Gulaab Gang-8

[tps_footer]Intense, Powerful, Gripping and Captivating – that’s the essence of  film Gulaab Gang, starring Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla . The colorful poster encompasses the ruthless war of good v/s evil in the film.

The first look of Gulaab Gang, the most anticipated film of 2014 is out. And it’s a perfect mix of great performances, perfect action and gripping dialogues. It leaves the audience gasping for more and makes you wonder about what will happen when the two diva’s of Bollywood will clash with each other.

What I liked about the trailer is the fact that even with such a short glimpse of the film one can clearly make out the strengths of each character. They look very cleverly etched out and well defined. Gulaab Gang will showcase Juhi Chawla in a negative role for the first time and that, for me, is very interesting. As far as Madhuri Dixit is concerned, one can see glimpses of her character in Mrityudand that she played way back in 1997.

WATCH THE TRAILER:

At the end of the trailer of Gulaab Gang, one thing is very clear about the movie – while Madhuri Dixit stands for justice, Juhi stands for political power. And though Madhuri Dixit turns out to be the positive, quintessential hero of the film, Juhi, I am sure, will also amaze people and make them take notice of her.

With Gulaab Gang, one can safely say that Bollywood has finally made a space for women and has tried to recognize woman power. There is no romance, no running around the trees routine, and hopefully no melodrama. Instead, there are lots of powerful performances.

Gulaab Gang is produced by Anubhav Sinha, is presented by Sahara Movie Studios and Bharat Shah and is a Benaras Mediaworks Production. It is directed by debutant Soumik Sen and stars Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla in lead roles.

Gulaab Gang is set to hit theatres on March 07, 2014, a day before the International Women’s Day.[/tps_footer]
