During the song launch event, Sonam was asked about her views on the Box Office collections that her film makes. To which she replied, “I think one film ‘Raanjhanaa’ and then ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ has done Rs 100 crores. “I don’t even remember what numbers my films do, because I really don’t think about it too much.”
She also spoke about her upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ with Salman Khan. “I really work hard for my films. The film stars Salman Khan and I am sure it’s going to open with ridiculous figures. But hope it does well for the producers. And I am doing another film with Fox so it better do well.”
When asked about the rumours of her being a part of Homi Adajania’s Hindi remake of Hollywood hit ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, to which Sonam replied, “I guess you are talking about some other actor, why do people get confused. For now I am doing just two films, they are ‘Prem Ratan Dhaan Payo’ and a film with Neerja, both are with Fox…So I am set for the next one year at least, after that God knows.”
Directed by Ram Madhvani, the film is a tribute to ‘Neerja Bhanot’. Sonam Kapoor will be seen playing the role of late senior flight attendant who saved 360 lives on Pan Am Flight when it was hijacked in Karachi in 1986.
On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor who made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan in “Saawariya”, (2007) is all excited and is feeling great to reunite with Salman after six years long gap. The duo will be seen romancing each other after six years in their upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The film is slated to release on November 12, 2015.
