Bollywood’s Dabangg Khan, Salman Khan’s upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the talk of the town ever since the news broke out. Now that the trailer and a very recent new romantic song from the film are out, the internet is flooded with Salman Khan and news related to his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. After watching the trailer, we know all about Salman Khan’s character in the film and we are nothing but absolutely excited to catch the megastar in Kabir Khan’s film. After Kick, we’ll get to see Salman back on the big screen this year and guess what? The star has few great line-ups of upcoming films.
Even after getting presented with delights one after one, we can’t help but wonder why Salman Khan chose Bajrangi Bhaijaan? After all, the character that he plays in the film is completely different than what audiences have seen in Salman Khan’s past few films. So, what got into Salman Khan to transform from being the “Dabangg” kick*ss police officer, desi version of Robinhood or so on to being an innocent devotee of lord Bajrangi? Well, here’s why.

Salman Khan was asked why he chose Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the actor replied saying that he chose this film for couple of reasons, one being the fact that he couldn’t find any other film with better script. “I couldn’t find a film with better script than this one. Kabir Khan is a very sincere and well-known director in the industry. I have worked with him before in Ek Tha Tiger, which did a decent business at the Box Office. I wanted to play safe so I decide to bet on Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Me and Kabir are like family, so I thought if I want to start a home production, why not start it from home itself? Bajrangi Bhaijaan was the best opportunity,” Salman Khan said.
Well, fair enough! Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is all set to hit the theatres this year on EID.
