By now, we all know that Bollywood’s new pair Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt will be seen in Gauri Shinde‘s next, to be produced by Karan Johar. Alia quickly took to her twitter handle to share her excitement on working ahead with the man himself, Shah Rukh Khan.
Recently, during the promotional event of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film ‘Shaandaar’, Alia was asked about her first reaction on working with SRK, to which the actress replied saying, “Right now I am doing a film only with Shahid Kapoor, and it is releasing on October 22, so only the man I am going to talk about is Shahid Kapoor.”

Talking about SRK and Alia’s film, till now the only thing confirmed regarding the film are these two actors, nothing yet has been confirmed on it. It is yet unclear what role the duo will be portraying in the film, but all we can say is we are excited to see them together. Moreover, SRK will be seen with an actress half of his age.
The film sees Shah Rukh Khan and Dharma Productions’ coming together almost after a gap of five years. The last one was ‘My Name Is Khan‘ which released in 2010. Reportedly, the film is said to be a very interesting film, but not a love story. Also earlier it was said that ‘Bang Bang’ actress Katrina Kaif was approached for the film, but then makers of the film decided to go for a younger heroine, and that’s how the role landed to Alia Bhatt.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has geared up for the promotions of her upcoming film ‘Shaandaar’ with Shahid Kapoor. Both the amazing actors were seen on a promotion spree at the launch event of CloseUp brand in Mumbai, on August 28. The duo will be playing insomniacs, and the film is of an Indian family who land up in an exotic location of London for the destination wedding where Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a wedding planner. Directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Karan Johar, the film is set to release this year on festive occasion of Dussehra on October 22, 2015.
