MUMBAI: The Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan starrer Bol Bachchan will go on floors in June, 2011.
Bol Bachchan will be directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Shri Ashtavinayak Cine Vision. The film is on the lines of the 1979 film Golmaal directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, which starred Amol Palekar, Utpal Dutt and Bindiya Goswami.
Devgn and Bachchan will be seen together in Bol Bachchan after almost eight years. They have earlier acted together in Shetty’s debut film, Zameen.
A source close to the film tells Businessofcinema.com, "The pre-production work is almost complete and the film will go on floors in June this year. Bol Bachchan will mostly be shot in India. We are still in talks with a few actresses for the female lead."
