MUMBAI: PVR Cinemas have taken over a cineplex with 1275 seats in the Uttar Pradesh city of Aligarh. PVR has taken over this cineplex on an operation and management basis with effect from 27 October, 2006.
With the taking over of this cineplex, the total number of operational screens of the company would go upto 77.
This cineplex is eligible for exemption from the payment of entertainment tax in terms of Entertainment Tax Exemption Policy applicable in the state of Uttar Pradesh for the remaining period of two years out of the total exemption period of five years.
