Shorts International acquires short film Rewind

MUMBAI: World’s largest short film distributor Shorts International has acquired Rewind — a short film that flows in reverse narrative. The film has been directed by Atul Taishete and produced by Ketan Gohil. It has been screened at 10 festivals around the world.

In India, the makers are being approached by world movie channels and mobile service providers to showcase the film on their platforms. Gohil is weighing all options carefully. He says, “I have been approached by UTV’s World Movies channel and Reliance Mobile to showcase Rewind on their channel and mobiles phone, but nothing is confirmed yet. My main objective is to showcase this movie on big screen and to go to the Oscars. We are reaching out to the right audiences across the world.”

As per the agreement with Shorts International, the movie also stands a chance for screening on Apple iTunes, Sony Playstation, in airlines and various other platforms across the world.
