MUMBAI: Star Gold’s opinion poll Sabsey Favourite Kaun is all set to come back on 30 December, 2006 and this time on an international level.

The award will cover a host of nations that are Bollywood fanatics, which includes the Middle East, South East Asia, the US, the UK, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia and New Zealand.

This award is different from other Bollywood award shows, wherein the winners are decided by the fans who not only vote for the winners of every single category but also vote to shortlist the stars as nominees.

Savlon Sabsey Favourite Kaun International this year will capture the emotions of the audiences not only in India but also around the world. The Fan Van, a nationwide poll drive, will cover the length and breadth of India, travelling to over 33 cities and collecting votes from fans from all over.

Star India executive vice president, content Deepak Segal said, “In this mega opinion poll we wanted to have the global perspective on Bollywood’s popularity. According to Time Magazine the global audience of Bollywood’s is to 3.6 billion against Hollywood’s 2.6 billion. This year at the US Box Office, four Bollywood releases have already crossed the $2 million mark. Even at the UK Box Office, nine Indian productions made it to the UK Top Ten! Star Gold, being India’s sabse favourite movie channel plans to reach out to all the national and international fans so they can vote for their Sabsey Favourite Star!”

The hosts for this year will be Ranvir Shourey, Vinay Pathak and Suresh Menon. Accompanying them will be the Savlon SFKI ambassador – Ayesha Takia.

This time on Savlon Sabsey Favourite Kaun International each fan who votes has a chance to be the Sabsey Bada Fan. This contest is open to all the national and international Bollywood fans and the one who sends in the maximum number of votes will have a chance to meet his / her favourite star at the event.
