MUMBAI: Tips Industries Limited has signed a contract with Delhi based mobile entertainment content provider Handygo.
Handygo has acquired worldwide copyright to develop ringtones (polyphonic and monophonic), themes, wallpapers, video clips, picture messages, logos and animated SMS of all the movie and albums to be released and produced by Tips, for the next one year. This content will further be provided to all mobile network service providers across the globe.
Confirming the same to Businessofcinema.com, Tips Industries managing director Kumar Taurani informs, “We have tied up with Handygo for content syndication for a period of one year. Tips’ slate of releases for the coming year includes films such as Naqaab and Race. We have also planned a few album releases with Alisha Chinai, Atif Aslam, Fame Gurukool’s artists, debutant Punjabi artist Kaptaan Ladi.”
Sources inform the deal has been struck for an amount close to Rs 30 million (Rs 3 crores). Taurani refused to comment on the same, he however adds, “We have a minimum guarantee and profit sharing working system with them.”
