When Shahid Kapoor Surprised Mira Rajput!

Bollywood’s chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor who is currently impressing everyone with his small screen debut on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded, is making headlines for his upcoming film Shaandaar. Post his marriage with Mira Rajput Kapoor, it is the first film for Shahid Kapoor and the actor is all excited about it.

But with the latest buzz, it is said that along with everyone else, even Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira is excited about hubby’s Shaandaar film opposite Alia Bhatt. Reportedly, Mira was surprised to see her hubby’s new avatar in Shaandaar trailer, where the actor is playing a role of a wedding planner. Mira is excitedly looking forward to watch the Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor starrer film, which is slated to release on October 22 this year.

With everyone giving positive feedback to Shahid Kapoor for recently released Shaandaar trailer, the most special one to praise was Mira Rajput Kapoor. Shahid’s Mira was not aware about the concept of the film, and so it was a surprise for her to see Haider actor as a wedding planner in the film. But the newly wed lady is all excited to catch hubby’s first film after marriage and she was also heard talking about the good chemistry between Shahid and Alia.

The film is a romantic destination-wedding story with lead actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The duo will be playing insomniacs and the film is said to be of an Indian family who land up in exotic location of London for the destination wedding where Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a wedding player.

For the first time, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be pairing together on the big screen and moreover Shaandaar is said to be India’s first film on destination wedding. The shooting of the film is done in London, UK. Also Shahid Kapoor’s father Pankaj Kapur is a part of the film. Directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Karan Johar, the film is set to release this year on festive occasion of Dussehra on October 22,2015.

Not just once, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to sizzle the screen with his upcoming movie Udta Punjab directed by Abhishek Choubey whose release date is yet to be finalized. The story is based on drug trafficking, and is shot in Punjab, the role of the characters is quiet tough. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
