BOX OFFICE: ‘Fast and Furious 6’ Continues To Rule Desi Box Office

‘Fast and Furious 6’, directed by Justin Lin, continues to rule the domestic box office in an incredible opening weekend. The film, starring featuring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and others has overtaken all competition at the ticketing windows.

MUMBAI: ‘Fast and Furious 6’, directed by Justin Lin, continues to rule the domestic box office in an incredible opening weekend. The film, starring featuring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and others has overtaken all competition at the ticketing windows.

As reported, on Day 1, ‘Fast and Furious 6’ raked in an impressive Rs 60 million (Rs 6 crore) net approximate. Including Thursday’s paid previews, ‘Fast and Furious 6’ stood at about Rs 76.3 million (7.63 crore) net, an astounding figure.

This has been the second biggest opening for any Hollywood film, after ‘Iron Man 3’.

On Day 2, ‘Fast and Furious 6’ drew in more audiences, with collections standing at approximately Rs 64.5 million (Rs 6.45 crore). Day 3 was even better, with the cash registers ringing to the tune of Rs 70 million (Rs 7 crore) net.

The three-day total for ‘Fast and Furious 6’ stands in the range of Rs 194.5 million (Rs 19.45 crore) net.
