Adam Sandler to voice Dracula in Sony Pictures’ Hotel Transylvania

MUMBAI: Adam Sandler will voice the lead role of Dracula in Sony Pictures Animation’s 3D family comedy Hotel Transylvania.

The film will be released on 21 September, 2012, by Columbia Pictures.

The film will be directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and is produced by Michelle Murdocca and the animation is by Sony Pictures Imageworks.

The movie will also feature the voices of Kevin James, Fran Drescher, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, Cee Lo Green and Andy Samberg.

Sandler will also in Sony’s next Jack and Jill, which is up for release on 11 November, 2011. The actor is currently shooting I Hate You, Dad, opposite Andy Samberg and Leighton Meester.

Sony Pictures Animation president of production Michelle Raimo-Kouyate said, "We’re thrilled to be working with Adam to create a comedic Dracula for a new generation. We have a unique story about that iconic character, starring a phenomenal cast directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, that re-imagines Transylvania and its legendary monsters in the way that only animation can."
