MUMBAI: Rentrak Corporation has signed a multi-year OnDemand Essentials contract with Tribeca Enterprises to provide advanced measurement services for its Tribeca Film OnDemand offering.
Tribeca Enterprises is a diversified global media company based in New York City which operates a network of branded entertainment businesses including Tribeca Film, a distribution label.
Rentrak began providing on-demand measurement for Tribeca Film OnDemand in 2010. Re-launching its on-demand channel as a year-round service, Tribeca Enterprises turned to Rentrak for the insights only set-top-box data can provide in order to help grow its emerging content offering.
"What began as a short-term contract has now expanded into a long-term relationship with the recognized leader in the on-demand space. Rentrak provides our network with the timely, robust and accurate data that moves the mark on our business initiatives for our growing year-round film service," said Tribeca Film vice president and GM Todd Green.
Tribeca Film OnDemand offers first-run independent movies, including titles from this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, playing concurrently on-demand for film fans around the United States. Participating cable and telco operators include Bright House, Cablevision, Charter, Comcast, Cox, DIRECTV, RCN, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS.
